Need a National Certificate? Find out more!

There are over 800 National Certificates and Diplomas, covering almost every industry and skill, registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The Bus and Coach industry is no exception.

National Certificates and National Diplomas give you the knowledge and skills that employers need.

National Certificate and Diploma courses are available at polytechnics, private training establishments, schools or wananga, and you can complete some National Certificates on the job while you receive training from your employer.

One of the advantages of National Certificates and Diplomas is that you get credit for skills you already have, without going to courses or training sessions. This is called assessment of prior learning. You are assessed immediately for what you can already do.

If you are already working, your employer or the NZRT&L ITO
www.roadtrain.org.nz will know all about National Certificates and National Diplomas.
