We specialize in solving immigration issues, overseas licence conversion, and job placement for experienced overseas bus and coach drivers.

1. Passenger Endorsement

Drive Licence Endorsement for bus, taxi, shuttle, tour guides

This one day course covers the Passenger endorsement theory test and training and assessment on Driving Hours Logbooks.
Candidates achieve Unit Standards 17579 and 15164 and are issued with an endorsement certificate that must be presented to a Driver Licensing agent (VTNZ or AA) to be put on to their drivers licence.
Pre-requisites: You must have held a FULL Car (Class 1) drivers licence for at least 2 years (may not apply to overseas applicants) and you will need a recent medical certificate.

2. Class 2 (HT) Drivers licence course

A 2 day course that will cut the 6 month waiting time on your Class 2 learners licence.

This course covers Driving Hours logbook requirements and. The course includes all driver training in our vehicle or yours and the licence assessment for driving a Class 2 Heavy Vehicle.
Candidates achieve Unit standards 15164 and 17574 and are issued with a licence certificate that must be presented to Driver Licensing agent (VTNZ or AA) to be put on to their drivers licence.
Pre-requisites: You must have held a FULL Class 1 car drivers licence for at least 6 months (may not apply to overseas applicants) and be over 25 years of age.

3. Class 4 (HT) Drivers licence course

4. AA Defensive Driving Course

DDC Public courses for Restricted licence holders

Get 6 months off your Restricted licence or 3 months off your motorcycle licence. Learn safe driving habits that will last you a lifetime.
Four two-hour theory sessions followed by a 1 hour practical on-road assessment.
Course completion entitles graduates with a Restricted licence to apply for a Full Licence Test after 12 months instead of the normal 18 months

DDC Corporate Course for employees with Full Licence

Good corporate citizens train their staff in safe driving techniques. The AA DDC Corporate Course includes a 4 hour interactive theory session and a 1 hour practical assessment for each staff member, followed up with a report to management including recommendations for any individual improvements.

The DDC Corporate Course has been shown to significantly reduce costs of crashes, lost productivity, insurance premiums, and may help cut your ACC levy bill.

5. NZQA National Certificate Small Passenger Services & National Certificate Large Passenger Services

We offer training and assessment to obtain your National Certificate in Small or Large Passenger Service Vehicle Driver.

Courses are run both on job and in classroom. If you are in fulltime employment, you can also gain a training subsidy of up to 70% to offset costs.
